How can I book a session?

Booking is easy!  Just click on "Book Now" to book the appointment yourself.  Or email the counselor your first and last name, DOB, phone number, and email address, and she will send you a Welcome email to the Client Portal.  Once you have access to your Client Portal, you can schedule/cancel your appointments and complete your Intake documents online.

What are your fees?

If you have insurance, then GreenpointMed, Inc. will bill them for you, and you will be charged the co-payment after each session.  You will be responsible for the balance if your insurance company does not cover the cost.

If you do not have insurance, then there is a Cash Services option ($75 for your first 60- min. session) and then $50 (for all subsequent sessions).  This can be paid via cash, check, or credit card and payments will receive a receipt.

There is a sliding fee application for those who qualify, and it is based upon income and household size.

-Children may NOT wait in the waiting area alone for parents to complete treatment.

-Please use the sink and soap provided in the bathroom.  As well as the hand sanitizer in the waiting room.

How many counselors are there to choose from and what type of counseling sessions are provided?

Just one counselor is available.  This is a private practice owned and operated by Mrs. Rebekah Stearns, MA, LPC, and she is the only counselor available to see at this time.

Mrs. Stearns provides only Individual Counseling sessions for adults ages 18 to 65.

How do I get all of my other questions answered?

Please feel free to email Rebekah (Rebekah.Stearns@NurturingHopeAndHealingCounseling.org) or text Rebekah at (208-285-2370). She will answer your questions as soon as possible.

Is there a secretary available to speak with?

Unfortunately, no.  At this time, the business does not have a secretary/receptionist.

How do I access the Client Portal when I forgot my password?

You can request that the counselor send you another Welcome email to create a new password by sending an email (Rebekah.Stearns@NurturingHopeAndHealingCounseling.org) or text message (208-285-2370).

Is the client supposed to schedule their own appointments?

Yes, clients book their own appointments in their Client Portal.

So if I have an appointment scheduled in 3 weeks do I go ahead and schedule the future ones also or do you recommend waiting until the initial visit?

You can book up to 52 weeks in advance. I would book ahead now. You can always cancel appointments in the Client Portal, too, if needed.

How would I setup appointments for telehealth when I select the appointment time it says the appointment is scheduled for an office visit vs online?

You can type a note that asks for Telehealth when you book the appointment or email me and ask that your sessions be telehealth. I usually check my waiting room and if clients are not there, then I log into the Client Portal to see if they are there instead.

Do you do billing yourself or do I have to send Bill's to insurance for reimbursement?

I have a billing team, GreenPointMed, and they bill your insurance company for you.
